A Penny Saved...

He managed to fool most of the people most of the time but when the local church decided to restore the outside walls of the rectory, Travis' low bid got him the job.

McGee set about erecting the scaffolding and purchasing the paint, and yes, I'm sorry to report, thinning it down.

Well, Travis was up on the scaffolding, painting industriously, when there was a horrendous clap of thunder.  The clouds began to unload every drop of moisture they had stored. 

The gusty wind and torrential rain blew him right off his scaffolding.  He landed among the gravestones surrounded by tell-tale puddles of thinned paint.

Travis was no fool.  This was a judgment from above and he quickly fell to his knees and cried:  "Oh God, Oh God, forgive me - what should I do?"

Above the thunder a mighty voice replied:
